Jai Jawan Jai Kissan
Its too long now I have heard the slogans of jai jawan jai kissan. Both farmers and soldiers have very important role to play in development of India. Indian economy which is still based on agriculture and directly associated with the fate of farmers. Indian slodiers who are putting their life on stakenow and then for maintaing peace on border and inside the border. Irrespective of these facts, I wont find the heroic image of farmers and soldiers in developing India. Still the public figure space is dominanatly occupied by bollywood actors, sportsmen, few bussinessmen and politicians.
If a survey is conducted among educated youth who are emerging as a good protestor evil things in society then nation builders, will surely not vote in majority in favour of Kissan and Jawan as their Idol. And for such consequenses you cant blame youth alone. Because the image which is projected among people for a farmer is of a poor villager and for a soldier-“just a Government servent”. But the fact is totally different from their projected image. Without these two characters in society no nation at least Indian society cant think of pure and real development.
Problems related to farmers such as sucide and land acquisition and many more which are not in news nowadays becomes a political issue very rapidly. All this dilema ends up in vote bank politics. In this social political drama a farmer becomes merely a spectetor. On the other hand, the other hero The Indian solidier occasionally get his deerved status. He is remembered and saluted for his sacrifice during wars, natural and unnatural disasters. But even though indian youth in majority do not consider defence services as a best career option.
Defence persons who are following every strategy made by Govt. and every rules and laws to run democracy smoothly. Our elected leaders who are not doing as such huge and revolutionary bit in nation building but breaking records in corruption are entitled to get so many facilities which accounts for millions of rupees. There is no point in standing against this thing but it is very much valid in standing with the real heroes of our nation The Jawan And The Kissan. Why people who are doing real nation building job from root level , is so unfortunate? Why their image is still not as inspiring and as huge as it should be, which enable Indian youth to understand that the farmers and soldiers are legendry peoples and real heroes.
Lets talk about them, Lets inspire from them, Lets raise every question for their justice, Lets respect them one more time and evrytime, Lets roar one more time
